Our client is a leader in the demolition and asbestos removal industry, dedicated to safety and quality in all our projects. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join the team.
Position Overview: As the Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing onsite projects, ensuring safety compliance, and supervising workforce activities. Your experience and leadership will be essential in maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety throughout the demolition process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage onsite projects effectively.
- Control and supervise the site workforce.
- Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct prestart and SWMS inductions.
- Develop and implement demolition plans and safety management systems.
- Perform project risk assessments and suggest improvements for workplace safety.
- Maintain and service company-owned equipment and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Driver's License.
- General Induction Card.
- Relevant asbestos removal qualifications (CPCCBC4051A, CPCCBC3014A, CPCCDE3015A).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising site works.
- Proven ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Understanding of industry standards and safety codes.
- Previous listing on PCBU Demolition Licence in Qld as a Supervisor.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
- Experience training apprentices/trainees.
- HR Truck License and other industry tickets (e.g., EWP, work at heights, forklift).

- Commitment to attending relevant industry courses and continual professional development.
