Join Our Vibrant Team at Australia's Premier Floral Wholesaler!
Are you passionate about flowers and providing outstanding customer service? Our client, a renowned wholesaler of exquisite fresh flowers and plant products, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to become the face of their bustling facility in Beard.
This role will be working an alternating (rotating) roster from Monday to Saturday, working 4 days each week with weekly hours approximately 24-30. Start time will be 6am.
Selected candidates will be invited to work a paid trial for this role commencing Monday February 3rd (for up to 2 weeks) to provide you with an opportunity to have an understanding of the work, be immersed within the team and experience one of our peak sales periods (Valentine's Day).
The Role:
- Thrive in a front-of-house position where your floristry knowledge and customer service excellence come to life.
- Operation of the POS system, including EFTPOS transactions.
- Build lasting relationships by assisting customers in-store and over the phone, ensuring their floral visions are realized.
- Demonstrate your innovative talent in merchandising by ensuring engaging presentations and precise pricing.
- Take pride in stock control, ensuring every bloom and plant meets our high-quality standards.
- Provide support for order processing, carefully overseeing and handling both incoming and outgoing orders.
- Assist with local customer deliveries (using company van)
- Contribute to a safe and pristine environment through diligent housekeeping and adherence to WHS standards.
- Embrace a variety of responsibilities as needed, always with a proactive and professional approach.
About You:
- A background in retail sales or wholesale markets, with a special touch for customer interactions.
- A self-motivated go-getter, capable of stellar performance even when unsupervised.
- Possessing a floristry qualification or equivalent knowledge, with a keen understanding of floral varieties.
- Sound capabilities with computers and stock take tasks.
- A reliable team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- A current valid driver's license (and comfortable with driving a van).
- Physically fit and ready to start each day from 6am to work as part of our dedicated team.
