Job description
Our client manufactures, designs and imports a wide range of electrical safety products and they are seeking a skilled sales representative to join their team in Cleveland, QLD.
The objectives of this position include:
- Representing the company's products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
- Achieve monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships by organising daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
- Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories
- Reporting to General Manager
- Follow up on enquiries and quote as required using Syspro and ensure orders achieved are supplied as required by interacting with Internal Sales and with other colleagues
- Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations
- Coordinate with other sales representatives and internal sales to ensure that quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld
Ideally you would fit the following criteria:
- Three or more year's experience in sales, preferably in the electrical industry
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
- excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills
