Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales/Customer Service Operative to join our team in a fast-paced counter sales role. This is an ongoing position with the potential for a permanent opportunity. The successful candidate will work directly with customers in-store, assisting them in finding products, making sales, and providing exceptional service.

Job Type: Ongoing (Temporary to Permanent Opportunity is a possibility)
Hourly Rate: $35.35 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Assist customers in finding products and making sales at the shopfront.
- Handle high-volume calls and manage admin tasks on the computer.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
- Process orders and transactions accurately.
- Utilize SAP software for product orders and customer management.
Key Requirements:
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Strong customer service skills, with an easygoing and approachable demeanor.
- Computer literate and comfortable using software, especially SAP (experience is highly desirable).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with high-volume calls and tasks.
- Sales experience is essential, with prior experience in industrial product sales a bonus.
- Knowledge of welding or gas products is ideal, but not mandatory.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in sales or customer service, especially in an industrial or technical setting.
- Good with numbers and comfortable handling financial transactions.
