Job description
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in the Waste Management & Landfill sector. This role requires an experienced operator with a current excavator ticket and proven expertise in handling heavy machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an excavator for various tasks in waste management and landfill operations
- Assist with earthworks, waste compaction, and other related tasks
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet operational goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating an excavator, with a valid excavator ticket
- Prior experience in waste management, landfill operations, or similar industries is preferred
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
