Job description

Our client is Australia's largest supplier of LPG to homes and businesses and operates the Swap and Go BBQ Gas Bottle System. With over 40 Service centres around the country, our customers are serviced by locals. Safety is important to us and what has helped our customers come to trust our brand.

Seeking reliable, punctual fit and healthy MR Truck Drivers to safety delivery various sized BBQ Gas bottles throughout the Newcastle region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials within the warehouse.
  • Manual Gas Bottle Filling: Physically fill gas bottles with accuracy and attention to safety.
  • Monitoring & Storing Gas Products: Ensure correct monitoring, storing, and handling of different gas products.
  • General Warehouse Duties: Assist in maintaining warehouse operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Safety Adherence: Always adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • MR Drivers Licence: A valid licence for a minimum of 3 years working experience.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to manually handle various sized gas bottles.
  • Multi Drop Delivery Experience: Must have experience with delivering across the region,
  • Experience: Proven experience as a forklift operator (FLT experience) and in manual handling tasks.
  • Clean Driving Record: To be provided prior to interview. Aggressive or excessive speeding records will not be considered.
  • Reliability: Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and workplace integrity.
  • Ability to Learn: Willingness and ability to learn new skills and participate in continuous training.
  • Location Requirement: Must live within 30 minutes of the site for punctual shift start times and travel considerations (important in Sydney due to traffic issues).

Working Hours:

  • Rotating Shifts include the below
    • 6am to 4pm plus OT Sat
    • Ordinary hrs $37.72, OT $50.30/hr
