Position Start Date: ASAP for the right candidate

Duration of Position: Ongoing with temp-to-perm options
Location: Batemans Bay, NSW

Position Title: MR Truck Driver (Flat Top Trucks, Up to 8 Ton)
Licences Required: MR Licence (Medium Rigid)
Additional Tickets: Forklift ticket is highly desirable but not essential

Role Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated MR Truck Driver to join our team. As an MR Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be delivering BBQ gas bottles and cylinders of various sizes to commercial customers across the Bega region. You'll be working with flat top trucks up to 8 tons, and a strong focus on safety and customer service is essential.

Key Duties:

  • Delivering BBQ gas bottles/cylinders to customers across Bega
  • Ensuring safe and efficient loading/unloading of deliveries
  • Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries
  • Following all road safety regulations and company policies

Standard Working Hours/Days:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (plus optional overtime on Saturdays)

Pay Rate:

  • $37.72 per hour

Experience & Attributes Required:

  • Must hold a valid MR Licence
  • Experience as a delivery driver, ideally in the SEQ region or a similar role
  • Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the role
  • Strong communication skills (English-speaking)
  • Ability to provide a clear driving history and pass a PEM (Pre-Employment Medical) with drug testing

Preferred Experience:

  • A forklift ticket is highly desirable
  • Experience in the delivery of gas bottles or similar commercial deliveries is a plus
