Are you a physically fit and reliable individual seeking stable, ongoing employment? We're looking for an enthusiastic Offsider/Labourer to join our small, dedicated team!
Position Details:
- Position Title: Offsider/Labourer
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Location: Townsville Area
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts. Start times vary, generally 6:30 am, but early 4:00 am starts may be required. Overtime, including Saturdays, may be available.
- Pay Rate: $35.56 per hour. Overtime paid at $47.42 per hour after 8 hours.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist tanker truck drivers with hose operation and gas cylinder filling.
- Perform general manual labouring tasks in the yard.
- Work closely with the driver to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work early mornings.
- Must provide and wear required PPE: Long work pants, Hi-Vis shirt, and steel-capped boots.
Team Culture:
You'll be part of a small, tight-knit team, working closely with the truck driver. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success in this role.
