The Role
We are currently seeking a positive and resourceful Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne Team in this varied and flexible role.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic industry with a reputable blue-collar focused business. Working with a team of experienced colleagues and able to work autonomously in this role will enable you to further develop your skills within a vast array of industry sectors, resourcing, recruiting & managing accounts for a wide variety of customers and job types.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing, screening, and interviewing of suitable candidates
- Writing job adverts and advertising online
- Conducting and recording reference checks
- Managing relationships with clients hiring & line managers
- Placing suitable candidates into work assignments, on-site with our large customer base
- Providing excellent customer service to candidates & clients
- Effective database management
- Data entry and compliance duties
- Promoting a positive safety culture across the business
Skills and Experience
In order to thrive in this position the following attributes are highly valued:
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in the labour hire or recruitment sectors (advantage)
- Confident, friendly phone manner
- Proactive and positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work as part of a cooperative team & willing to help others
- Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with clients and candidates
