Position Overview:
We are seeking a Repair Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for repairing electronic components, including disassembly, reassembly, and soldering. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer literacy, a solid understanding of electronics, and the ability to work unsupervised while maintaining high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and reassemble electronic components
- Perform soldering and repairs as required
- Work with both hand and power tools
- Follow technical drawings and written instructions to complete tasks
- Ensure work is completed with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Lift up to 10kg as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong computer literacy
- Previous experience in electronic repair (or related field)
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High level of attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to multitask
- Physical capability to lift up to 10kg
- Electronic & Communication Cert is a plus
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Casual ongoing role
- $35 per hour
