As well as atmospheric gases, we supply thousands of different types of gas, and gas mixtures to customers across the South Pacific in an enormous range of industries.

We are seeking a Physically Fit, proactive and enthusiastic Trades Assistant / Fork Lift Operator to work at a fast paced industrial yard in Karratha, who is well presented, punctual and has a passion for safety and work ethic.

What this job means for you:

  • Ongoing Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 4.30pm with some overtime

Duties include but not restricted to:

  • Loading & unloading trucks using Forklift
  • Sorting empty cylinders and picking orders
  • Using scanners for dispatch and checks
  • Filling Industrial Gasses and LPG
  • Be inclusive in Daily Toolbox meetings
  • Training as required to become Trades Assistant
  • All other jobs assigned

Skills, Qualifications & Experience required for this role:

  • LOCAL RESIDENT: This is a residential position only with no FIFO/DIDO option
  • FORKLIFT LICENCE: Loading/unloading trucks using Forklift with experience required to carry out this role safely.
  • HAND/POWER TOOLS: Experience using various equipment is essential
  • PHYSICALLY FIT & HEALTHY: A role where you are required to manoeuvre cylinders and be on your feet for extended amounts of time. Will need to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
  • STRONG WORK ETHIC AND PUNCTUALITY: Being on time, strong attendance while showing to be proactive, enthusiastic and willing to learn attending role as outlined in job description is essential.
  • TEAM WORK: Work Well as part of a time essential.
  • NPC: Must be able to present a clean National Police Clearance.
