Our client is a leading provider of high-quality meat products, committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of their operations. Their newly opened small stock processing plant located in Mildura.
As they continue to expand and innovate, our client is now seeking a dedicated AAO - Meat inspector to join their team.
About the role
Are you a seasoned professional in the meat industry with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality? We are on the lookout for individuals with Meat Inspection experience who are eager to carve out a long-term career path within the meat industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and conduct yourself in accordance with the AAO Deed of Obligation
- Perform all official duties as an AAO in line with the standards and requirements established by the department.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection findings and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with government agencies, veterinary professionals, and other stakeholders to address emerging issues and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Certificate 3 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety)
- Certificate 4 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety)
- Knife sharpening and knife handling experience.
- Experience in working in a meat processing environment.
- Be able to work within a team or individual environment.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
