Job description
We are seeking a reliable, fit and energetic candidate with sound stores and warehousing skills to work within the fresh flower market team, located at the Rocklea Flower Markets. Start times will be 3am each day, working a Monday to Friday roster.
The Role:
- Stock control, management, and movement.
- Quality inspection of product - all floral and plant varieties
- Fulfil and check orders incoming and outgoing.
- Liaising with delivery drivers - incoming and outgoing
- Receiving stock and unpacking
- Stock count and rotation
- Other warehouse duties as directed
About You:
- A background in warehousing, stores or wholesale markets, with good communication skills.
- A self-motivated go-getter, capable of stellar performance even when unsupervised.
- A current forklift license would be advantageous for this role.
- A reliable team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work within a cold room environment (4 degrees c).
- Physically fit and ready to start each day from 2am to work as part of our dedicated team.
